What you need to know before applying
- Admissions open: 1 January 2027
- Last date to apply: 30 April 2027
- LKG (KG I) age: for the 2027–28 session, the child must be born on or before 31 March 2024 — that is, 3 years old by 31 March 2027.
- Entrance test: required as part of the admission process.
- Curriculum: CBSE pattern, with NCERT books and continuous, comprehensive evaluation.
- Academic session: April to March, with the main vacation in May.

What curriculum does Hayagrivas follow?
We follow the CBSE curriculum (Affiliation No. 1930677), guided by NCERT textbooks and Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), from Kindergarten to Class XII.
From which class can my child join?
Children can join from Kindergarten (LKG) right through to Senior Secondary (Class XII), depending on age and seat availability.
What is the minimum age for LKG admission?
A child joining KG I (LKG) must have completed 3 years of age by 31 March of the year the session begins. For the 2027–28 session, that means a date of birth on or before 31 March 2024.
When do admissions open?
For the 2027–28 session, admissions open on 1 January 2027 and close on 30 April 2027. Early enquiries are encouraged, as seats are limited.
Is there an entrance examination?
Yes — an entrance test forms part of the admission process. The office will explain what it covers for your child's class and how to prepare.
What is the admission process?
It's simple: send an enquiry (using the form below) or call us, visit the campus, complete the application with the required documents, attend a brief interaction, and receive your confirmation.
What documents are needed at admission?
Birth certificate, the student's Aadhaar card, three passport-size photographs, a community certificate and the parent's address proof. Students joining Class 1 or above from another school must also submit a Transfer Certificate (TC) and the previous report card.
What is the medium of instruction?
English is the medium of instruction, and we maintain a 100% English-speaking ambience across the campus, with particular focus on leadership and public-speaking skills.
Which second languages are offered?
Hindi or Tamil is offered as a second language. Hindi is a compulsory second language for students who join from Kindergarten.
What is the academic session?
The academic session runs from April to March, with the main vacation from the last week of March through May.
What is the fee structure?
The class-wise fee for Pre K.G. to Class XII is published as a downloadable PDF in our Mandatory Disclosure section. For anything the sheet does not cover, please contact the school office.
Are scholarships or concessions available?
Please speak with the school office about any concessions that may apply for the current academic year.
What are the class sizes and student–teacher ratio?
We deliberately keep classes small so every child receives personal care and attention, and ten of our classrooms are smart classrooms. Exact current-year class sizes and the student–teacher ratio are available from the office.
Does the school provide transport?
Yes. We run a fleet of 31 buses, every one GPS-enabled so journeys can be tracked. Contact the office to check the route covering your area.
What are the school timings?
The office will confirm the current school timings and any variation between the pre-primary and higher classes.
What facilities does the campus have?
Separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories, a computer lab, an ATAL Tinkering Lab, a library of 5,100 books, ten smart classrooms and sports grounds on a 5-acre campus. See our Campus page for more.
What co-curricular activities are offered?
Plenty. The first and third Saturdays of each month are "No-Book Days" dedicated to co-curricular activities, alongside themed days, competitions, an annual school tour and regular field trips.
Does the school prepare students for Olympiads?
Yes. Every student is encouraged to appear for national and international Olympiads (NSO, IMO, IEO, IFO) from Class 1, and we collaborate with leading competitive-exam authorities.
How does the school keep my child safe?
The campus has full CCTV coverage, four security guards on duty and a supervised visitor entry system. There is a medical room on site, and drinking water is RO-purified.
What are the school's board results?
We have achieved a 100% pass rate in 2024, 2025 and 2026. In 2026 V. Jyovitha topped Class XII with 484 marks (centum in Mathematics and Chemistry) and also secured our top NEET score, while Jivanthiga NDG topped Class X with 481. Full details are in our Mandatory Disclosure.
